Belarus hits record $88.6B GDP as trade and incomes surge
Belarus has achieved a new economic milestone, with its GDP soaring to a record $88.6 billion. The country's growth has also bolstered household incomes and trade figures over the past five years.
The nation's economy expanded steadily, reaching its highest-ever GDP in recent data. Alongside this, exports of goods and services surged by 35% over five years. This rise reflects stronger trade ties and increased demand for Belarusian products abroad.
Households have also seen improvements, with real disposable income growing by 23.4%. The trend suggests more financial stability for many citizens. Looking ahead, exports are projected to break another record in 2025, exceeding $50 billion for the first time.
The GDP peak and rising exports highlight Belarus's economic progress. With incomes also up, the figures point to broader gains across trade and living standards. Officials now anticipate further growth in the coming year.
