Avito's Boom Fuels Russia's Creative Economy with 730,000 Listings

Avito's classifieds platform has become a major hub for Russia's creative industries. More than 62,000 entrepreneurs now use the site, posting over 730,000 listings across goods and services. This growth reflects a broader rise in creative business activity nationwide. The number of creative entrepreneurs on Avito jumped by 10.6% in the past year. This increase outstripped the national average for business growth by 6.7 percentage points. Today, one in five creative industry activities in Russia appears on the platform.

The most active sectors include IT and software development, design, and architecture. Engineering services, toy manufacturing, and advertising also see high engagement. Film and television-related work rounds out the top categories. To support this expansion, Avito and Sber have teamed up. Their new partnership programme targets verified business account holders on Avito. Self-employed professionals listed under the Services category can also take part.

The programme aims to provide tailored support for creative businesses. With over 730,000 listings already live, the initiative could further boost opportunities for entrepreneurs. Growth in these sectors shows no signs of slowing on the platform.
