Atlas Copco Acquires SUTO iTEC to Boost Compressed Air Services
Atlas Copco has acquired SUTO iTEC, a Hong Kong-based specialist in measurement and monitoring solutions for compressed air and gases. The acquisition will see SUTO become part of Atlas Copco's Compressor Technique business area, specifically within its Service Division.
SUTO, previously headquartered in Cologne, offers a diverse product portfolio including flow, power, and dew point meters, leak detectors, and compressed air purity analysers. These solutions cater to various industries such as manufacturing, food and beverage, automotive, pharmaceuticals, and electronics.
With the acquisition, SUTO's 136 employees will join Atlas Copco, bolstering its operations in China and Germany. The integration will enhance Atlas Copco's service capabilities and customer offerings in the compressed air and gas market.
The acquisition of SUTO by Atlas Copco is expected to strengthen both companies' positions in the compressed air and gas market. SUTO's expertise in measurement and monitoring solutions will complement Atlas Copco's existing portfolio, providing customers with a broader range of services and innovative products.
