Atlanta's Champions of Hope Gala Honors Community Changemakers on Feb 28
The Motherless Daughters Foundation will host its 12th Annual Champions of Hope Awards Gala on February 28, 2023. The event celebrates organizations and individuals making a difference in Atlanta's communities. It will bring together civic leaders, corporate partners, and philanthropists for an evening of recognition and inspiration.
The gala takes place at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta. Over the past five years, around 25–30 local groups have received similar honours, including the Atlanta Regional Commission's Social Impact Awards and the Community Foundation's grants. These awards focus on key areas: measurable community impact, innovative solutions to inequities, long-term sustainability, and strong leadership in equity and inclusion.
The Motherless Daughters Foundation has built a reputation for highlighting work that addresses social security challenges. Past winners have included nonprofits and initiatives that demonstrate clear results in improving lives. The event aims to foster connections between advocates, donors, and community leaders while showcasing successful projects.
This year's gala continues a tradition of spotlighting Atlanta's most effective changemakers. The foundation's selection process reflects a commitment to equity, impact, and lasting change. Attendees will have the chance to support and learn from the city's leading social security innovators.
