Atlanta Charity Delivers Christmas Meals to Hundreds Across the City
An Atlanta-based charity brought festive support to families across the city on Christmas Day. Hosea Helps, a local nonprofit, organised a large-scale food giveaway with the help of nearly 300 volunteers. The effort reached residents in 15 different postal areas throughout metro Atlanta.
The campaign began in early December under the leadership of Pastor Uwe Niemeyer. Donations poured in during the month, funding both food and gifts for those in need. By Wednesday, the organisation had already distributed toys to children ahead of the main event.
On Christmas morning, volunteers either handed out meals in person or delivered them directly to homes. The operation covered a wide area, ensuring families across the region received a warm meal. Hosea Helps has long been known for its year-round support, offering encouragement and practical aid beyond the holiday period.
The food giveaway provided immediate relief to hundreds of households on Christmas Day. With nearly 300 volunteers involved, the charity’s efforts extended across metro Atlanta. The organisation’s work continues, offering ongoing assistance to those facing hardship in the community.
