Asia’s Acid Dye Exports Rebound After Years of Decline in 2024

Acid and Mordant Dye exports have shown a mixed picture over the past few years. While consumption has remained relatively stable, exports have seen fluctuations, with notable growth in 2021 and a peak in 2014. The volume of exports reached a high of X tons in 2013 but has since remained lower.

The most significant increase in exports occurred in 2014, with a growth rate of X%. This surge led to a record high of $X in 2019. However, from 2020 to 2024, the figure has been lower. Similarly, consumption hit a record high of $X in 2019 but has since been lower.

Looking at the geographical distribution, India was the largest exporter, accounting for about X tons and X% of total exports. China followed with X tons, holding a X% share. Thailand also played a significant role with X% of total exports. In 2024, exports finally started to rise after two years of decline, reaching X tons.

In 2024, the Asian market for acid and mordant dyes decreased by X% to $X, marking the fifth consecutive year of decline. Despite this, India and China have strengthened their exports in recent years, indicating potential growth in the future.
