Arrow Electronics Hosts AMR Design Seminars in Singapore and Bangkok
Arrow Electronics will hold technical seminars on autonomous mobile robot (AMR) design in Singapore and Bangkok next May. The events, scheduled for May 19 in Singapore and May 21 in Bangkok, aim to showcase the latest advancements in AMR technology. Registration is now open online for those interested in attending.
The Asia-Pacific region is seeing rapid growth in AMR adoption, fuelled by rising ecommerce demands, warehouse automation, and smart manufacturing projects. These seminars will provide hands-on insights into building and optimising AMR systems for real-world use. The seminars will feature live demonstrations of AMR solutions, covering key areas like AI-driven navigation, advanced sensing, and energy-efficient designs. Attendees will explore system-level architectures and practical challenges in AMR deployment. Arrow’s approach combines technology integration, engineering support, and supply-chain services to simplify complex design hurdles.
Arrow is teaming up with leading suppliers, including onsemi, to tackle system-level issues in AMR development. These include integrating computing, sensing, connectivity, power management, and motion control. David Chow, sales SVP at onsemi Asia Pacific, stressed the need for seamless subsystem integration to ensure reliable real-world performance.
Dr. Raphael Salmi, president of Arrow’s semiconductor business for South Asia, Korea, and Japan, highlighted the growing use of AMRs to boost efficiency and flexibility in industrial operations. The events will also offer deeper technical discussions on industrial-grade reliability and scalable AMR solutions.
More details on Arrow’s AMR offerings can be found on their website at arrow.com. The Singapore and Bangkok seminars will provide engineers and developers with direct access to AMR design expertise. Attendees can expect practical takeaways on building robust, efficient, and scalable autonomous systems. Registration remains open for those looking to participate in these technical sessions.
