In his words, economies in the region must address pressing demands for supply chain restructuring, digital transformation, and sustainable and inclusive growth.
The event's theme, 'Bridge - Business - Beyond,' encapsulates a promise to bolster connections, collaboration, and collective action in addressing global challenges and supporting regional development.
A platform unparalleled, ABAC 3 in Hài Phòng will empower our Vietnamese enterprises to engage with international partners and ABAC members, creating opportunities for fostering connections, advancing Việt Nam's investment environment, and partnering to nurture a prosperous, inclusive, and sustainable Asia-Pacific region.
The meeting agenda encompasses a wide range of pressing matters, including free, fair, and sustainable trade and investment; digital transformation and innovation; capacity building for small- and medium-sized enterprises; green finance and inclusive growth; sustainable development; health security and resilient supply chains; and the role of businesses in propelling the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
A trade and investment promotion conference is slated to run concurrently in Hài Phòng Province, with an expected attendance of around 700 investors. Local authorities are set to award investment licenses for 19 projects totalling a colossal $10 billion, alongside the signing of six memorandums of understanding valued at $5 billion. These moves underscore Hài Phòng's rising popularity as a dynamic hub for international investment.
