Anscer Robotics raises ₹45 Cr to fuel global expansion in industrial automation
Anscer Robotics, an industrial automation specialist, has secured ₹45 Cr (around $4.6 Mn) in its latest funding round. The Bengaluru-based startup plans to expand its global operations and enhance its robotics platform with the new investment. India’s growing demand for industrial robots is driving innovation in the sector, with the country now ranking as the world’s sixth-largest market for robot installations.
The company also recently opened a new manufacturing facility in Bengaluru, equipped with a 20,000 square feet testing area. This plant can produce over 1,000 robots each year, supporting Anscer’s push into high-volume automation solutions. The Series A round was led by IAN Alpha Fund, with additional backing from existing investor Info Edge Ventures and several angel investors. Anscer Robotics will use the funds to refine its product platform, strengthen its US market presence, and grow its international partner network.
The startup specialises in AI-driven robots and software for factories and warehouses. Its offerings include autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), fleet management systems, and industrial automation tools. Beyond hardware, Anscer is developing an open robotics software layer based on model context protocol (MCP) principles, aiming to improve interoperability in automation ecosystems.
Anscer’s global reach extends beyond India, with a sales and support office in Texas serving customers across the US, Europe, and Asia Pacific. The company’s expansion comes as India’s industrial automation market is forecast to reach $25.8 Bn by 2028, reflecting rapid growth in manufacturing and logistics automation.
Last year, nearly 9,100 industrial robots were installed in India, reinforcing its position as a key player in the sector. Anscer’s new facility in Bengaluru will help meet this rising demand, producing advanced robots tailored for high-efficiency environments. The fresh funding will accelerate Anscer Robotics’ plans to scale its technology and global footprint. With a new manufacturing hub and a focus on AI-powered automation, the company is positioning itself for growth in a rapidly expanding market. India’s industrial robotics sector continues to gain momentum, with Anscer at the forefront of innovation in smart factory solutions.
