American market boosted by Kazakhstan wheat exports
The opening of the QazTrade partner office in Washington in July has paved the way for Kazakhstan to expand its presence in the American market. This is the first major export case realized under the new strategy for promoting national products in the US.
The product in question, wheat flour for the Eurasian Legacy brand, is now available in several American bakeries and on major online platforms such as Amazon and Walmart. The product's packaging, marked "Product of Kazakhstan," not only enhances the brand's recognition but also promotes Kazakhstan as a supplier of quality products.
The packaging also suggests that the product is eco-friendly, aligning with the growing demand for natural and authentic products in the HoReCa (Hotels, Restaurants, and Cafes) segment. This segment values such products, as they are often used in the preparation of dishes served to customers.
Negotiations for flour supplies to restaurants, cafes, and local food networks are ongoing, with plans to increase shipments to more than 100 tons of flour per month. Plans are also underway to enter major American retail chains such as Costco, Whole Foods, and Trader Joe's.
The success of the wheat flour export is not a one-off case. Previously, Kazakh honey had entered the European market, and products like buckwheat, granola, talc, chocolate, and cocoa have already been presented in the US. Kazakh producers are planning a business mission to New York, Chicago, and Washington to strengthen partnerships and occupy a niche in the HoReCa segment.
QazTrade General Director Aitmukhammed Aldajаrov made a statement about the expansion of Kazakh products in the American market, expressing optimism about the future of Kazakhstan's exports to the United States. The opening of the QazTrade partner office in Washington provided direct access to distributors and retailers, making negotiations and partnerships more straightforward.
The growth in demand for Kazakh products in the American market indicates a positive trend for Kazakhstan's economy. As more products are introduced and made available, it is expected that the demand will continue to grow, further enhancing Kazakhstan's brand recognition and reputation as a reliable supplier of quality, eco-friendly products.
