Altered Street Route: Buses are being redirected on Bierstadter Straat

In the city of Wiesbaden, several bus lines have been affected by construction-related disruptions as of August 18, 2025. The lines impacted include 37, 17, 23, 24, and N11.

The main cause of these detours is the closure of Patrickstraße, which began on August 8, 2025, and the closure of Gustav-Stresemann-Ring, effective from August 18. These closures have led to rerouting or detours for the affected lines.

For instance, Line 37 is diverted via Patrickstraße and B455, skipping the stops "Plutoweg", "Wartestraße", "Fichtestraße", and "Hans-Bredow-Straße". However, trips in the direction of the main station are affected, while those heading towards Bierstadt remain unaffected.

Buses on lines 17, 23, 24, and N11 will take a detour via Kirchbachstraße, Aukammallee, Fichtestraße, and Moltkering, returning to their regular route and serving the "Alwinenstraße" stop again. The nearest boarding and alighting points for these lines are at the "Wartestraße", "Hildastraße", and "Alwinenstraße" stops.

It is important to note that passengers can still board buses traveling out of the city to reach the stops "Fichtestraße", "Wartestraße", and "Plutoweg".

For the most accurate and detailed detour information, including alternative stops and route deviations, it is advisable to consult the official ESWE Verkehr website or their interactive network map directly. The ESWE-Verkehr service phone and the Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund hotline offer timetable and fare information.

The ESWE-Verkehr service phone is reachable from Monday to Friday between 7 am and 6 pm, and on Saturdays from 8 am to 3 pm, under the number (0611) 45022450. An overview of all detours is available on www.eswe-verkehr.de.
