Ahmedabad's Enercomp Solutions Raises Rs 2 Crore for India's Drone Economy

Ahmedabad-based drone technology startup Enercomp Solutions has secured Rs 2 crore in bridge funding, led by angel investor Jitendra Solanki. The company, which operates at the intersection of hardware, software, and services, aims to build foundational infrastructure for India's drone economy.

Enercomp, founded in 2016, has seen its valuation soar nearly fivefold, from Rs 12.5 crore to Rs 60 crore. The company offers a diverse product portfolio, including seven proprietary drone models, actively used by enterprise and government clients such as Tata Projects, Reliance, Mahindra Susten, L&T, and several public sector agencies.

Enercomp provides indigenous drone manufacturing, a Drone-as-a-Service (DaaS) model, and a proprietary GIS analytics dashboard. The company's success is underpinned by consistent revenue growth and profitability, with Rs 5.6 crore in FY24 and Rs 4.2 crore already booked in FY25. Co-founder and director Jatin Patel stated that the bridge round will help accelerate readiness for national-scale opportunities. The transaction was advised by Bestvantage Investments.

With the new capital, Enercomp plans to expand manufacturing, scale R&D for AI-powered drone software, and enhance delivery systems. The company's vision to build foundational infrastructure for India's drone economy is gaining traction, as reflected in its surging valuation and strong financial performance.
