Aevi and Verifone Team Up to Revolutionize Global In-Person Payments
Aevi and Verifone have announced a strategic partnership to simplify in-person payments for businesses worldwide. The collaboration builds on a successful pilot and now includes Verifone’s Engage product line, aiming to streamline global payment deployments. Both companies will combine their technologies to reduce complexity for merchants expanding across regions.
The partnership brings together Verifone’s global device portfolio and operational services with Aevi’s cloud-based payment platform. This integration allows merchants to deploy Verifone terminals across EMEA and North America through a single connection. Aevi’s system already supports multiple hardware brands, giving businesses flexibility in managing payment setups.
Verifone’s white-glove services will provide end-to-end support, covering deployment, onboarding, installation, and logistics. Rajeev Yerukalapudi, EVP and Global Head of Strategy & Partnerships at Verifone, highlighted that the deal removes fragmented integrations and regional barriers for merchants. Meanwhile, Aevi’s platform ensures access to local and alternative payment methods without extra integration work. Alex Benjamin, General Manager of Aevi, stated that the collaboration speeds up innovation in the fast-changing payment industry. The partnership directly tackles challenges like proprietary integrations and operational inefficiencies in international payment expansion.
The agreement enables businesses to manage in-person payments more efficiently across different markets. By combining Verifone’s hardware and services with Aevi’s cloud platform, merchants can now deploy and scale payment solutions with reduced complexity. The partnership is set to support smoother global expansion for companies relying on in-person transactions.
