Navigating the Pandemic's Challenges

Last year tested everyone's resilience. JSC "Teploenergo" had to ensure the safety of its employees, minimize mass illness, and adapt to the restrictions. We managed this by investing in protective equipment, spreading out personnel, organizing remote work, and prioritizing operational staff to maintain a steady supply of heat to our city.

We also faced the challenge of a late heating season end, due to the self-isolation regime. But we were able to provide hot water until July to keep our residents comfortable, before starting repairs on the water supply networks in July. Adapting was key, and promptly completed tasks allowed for a timely preparation for the upcoming heating season.

Exceptional Results Amidst the Tumult

In spite of the challenges, we achieved remarkable success in network replacement and equipment repair. This year, we surpassed historical records, with 112 km of pipes and 1100 units of equipment repaired. Those numbers, combined with the significant work done in 2019, significantly improved the reliability of our heat supply and brought down the accident rate by 10.2%.

Recognition for a Job Well Done

Our efforts did not go unnoticed. JSC "Teploenergo" received the prestigious award from the Ministry of Energy of Russia for developing corporate culture. This accolade rewards the dedication to employee training, support, and retention, in addition to various initiatives aimed at boosting employee wellbeing.

2020 provided key lessons on the unity and resilience of our team. Despite the adversity, our employees stayed focused, with one worker picking up another's slack in case of temporary absence. The solidarity and commitment displayed by every employee is an honor and source of pride for me.

We are hard at work preparing for the summer repair campaign of 2021. This includes a range of project work, procurement activities, and general preparations for the onset of warm weather. As a city, we're eager to celebrate the 800th anniversary of Nizhny Novgorod, and we aim to help make the jubilee beautiful and renewed.

In the coming year, we will continue our efforts to improve the quality and reliability of our heat supply, repair, and reconstruction of networks, while reducing our carbon footprint. By remaining adaptable and responsive, we will face any challenge head-on and strive for new heights!
