200 tons of products at affordable prices: regional fair held in Kokchetav
A large agricultural fair has opened in Kökşetau, Aqmola Region, offering residents a chance to buy fresh produce at lower prices. Organised by the Aqmola Regional Department of Agriculture and the Kökşetau City Administration, the event aims to support food security while keeping essential goods affordable. With over 200 tons of products on display, visitors can find everything from daily necessities to special festive items.
The fair features nearly 90 trading stalls spread across 45 pavilions. Local producers are selling more than 30 types of goods, including meat, dairy, fish, eggs, vegetables, grains, and cooking oil. Many of these items come from the regional stabilisation fund, ensuring key products like meat, flour, sugar, and vegetables are priced below regular market rates.
Shoppers can expect noticeable savings compared to standard grocery costs. The event not only provides everyday staples but also seasonal treats, giving families a wider range of affordable options. Organisers have emphasised the fair’s role in stabilising prices and ensuring a steady supply of essential food items.
The exhibition runs as part of broader efforts to strengthen food security in the region. With discounted prices and a wide selection of local produce, residents have a practical way to cut household expenses. The fair will remain open for visitors looking to stock up on quality goods at reduced rates.
